Commemoration of Khojaly genocide to be held in Kyrgyzstan

Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, Feb. 16/ Trend R. Meshadihasanli/ The commemoration ceremony on 17th anniversary of Khojaly genocide will be held on the initiative of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan's Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Arif Agayev told Trend on Feb. 16.

The commemoration ceremony on 17th anniversary of Khojaly genocide will be held in Bishkek's Imam Ali Mosque on Feb. 26 with the active participation of diplomatic representations accredited in Kyrgyzstan, media outlets and Azerbaijani diaspora, Agayev said.

 

"Printed materials regarding Khojaly genocide, consequences of Armenia's unfair war against Azerbaijan, genocide policy towards Azerbaijan civilians, as well as more than 450 DVD-disks with documentary film about Khojaly genocide will be delivered to participants of the ceremony."

 

Moreover, the participants of the ceremony will be able to get familiarized with the photo stand demonstrating Khojaly genocide.

 

In the end of the ceremony, prayers will be delivered for light memory of martyrs giving their lives for Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and independence and victims of Khojaly genocide. Funeral repast will be organized for almost 500 people," Ambassador Arif Agayev said.
