BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 26. Ministry of Digital Development of Kyrgyzstan and the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) signed a memorandum of cooperation at the Eurasian Economic Forum, Trend reports via press service of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Digital Development.
The agreement was signed for the creation of long-term, effective, and mutually profitable cooperation, as well as the joint implementation of projects in the sphere of Kyrgyzstan's digital transformation.
“The memorandum's major purpose is to foster collaboration in the field of digital transformation. We're talking about the establishment of a regional data center in particular,” the head of the Ministry Talantbek Imanov said.
“One of the primary directions of the Bank's Strategy for the next five years is the development of digital projects in EAEU countries. We plan to provide comprehensive assistance to Kyrgyzstan in the implementation of digital transformation, the development of new high-tech and environmentally friendly initiatives,” Chairman of the EDB Board Nikolay Podguzov said.
