Starch export from Russian Kabardino-Balkarian Republic to Kyrgyzstan unveiled

BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 10. Russian Kabardino-Balkarian Republic has exported the amount of 63.25 tons of starch to Kyrgyzstan from the beginning of 2023, Trend reports with reference to Rosselkhoznadzor.

It was the first time when the starch from Kabardino-Balkaria was delivered to Kyrgyzstan.

In 2022, Kabardino-Balkaria also exported starch to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, the volume of exports to the two countries exceeded 200 tons.

While inspecting export deliveries of quarantine products, the Rosselkhoznadzor took into account the special requirements of importing countries.

During the inspection of products, samples were taken to establish the phytosanitary state of the products. After receiving the results of laboratory tests, phytosanitary certificates for the goods were issued.

According to the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan, the value of Russian exports to Kyrgyzstan amounted to $2 billion from January through November 2022. Which is an increase of 25 percent, compared to the same period of 2021 ($1.6 billion).

Kyrgyzstan's trade turnover with Russia reached $2.4 billion in 2022, which hit a record level in the history of trade relations between the countries.
