BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, September 18. The opening of Kyrgyzstan’s Trade House in the Chinese city of Xi'an will stimulate the development of e-commerce between the two countries, trade representative of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan, Zhusubali Toromamatov said, Trend reports.
He mentioned that this Trade House will serve as a platform for Chinese consumers to establish direct connections with Kyrgyzstan's producers. Toromamatov believes that the opening of the Trade House in Xi'an will be the first step toward both online and offline sales of Kyrgyzstan's products in China.
During the meeting with the leadership of the Qing Nian Lu district of Xi'an, a Kyrgyz trade representative touched upon Kyrgyzstan's export potential, emphasizing that Kyrgyzstan is renowned for its environmentally friendly products.
Furthermore, the Chinese side showed the site where the Kyrgyzstan Trade House will be opened, with a total area of 200 square meters and all necessary infrastructure nearby. Chinese officials assured that the necessary assistance and support would be provided to the Trade Representation of Kyrgyzstan to implement this project, and the Trade House would be opened in the shortest possible time.
Relations between Xi'an and Kyrgyzstan are developing rapidly. Earlier in September, Kyrgyzstan and the Chinese company Shaanxi Airport Civil Aviation Industry Investment discussed the opening of a cargo air route from Xi'an to Bishkek.
In addition to this, Kyrgyzstan's representatives held discussions with the head of the Xi'an branch of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank regarding the promotion of joint projects.
