BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, December 8. Kyrgyzstan exported 818,972 tons of agricultural products from January through November 2023, Trend reports.
Data from the Kyrgyzstan's Ministry of Agriculture shows that the export increased by 231,805 tons compared to the same period of 2022 (587,167 tons).
The primary products for export were:
Vegetables – 186,876 tons
Fruits – 139,089 tons
Nuts – 88,526 tons
Leguminous crops – 70,545 tons
Potatoes – 43,510 tons
Dried fruits – 34,960 tons
Seedlings – 3,614,704 pieces.
Meanwhile, Kyrgyzstan imported 838,183 of agricultural products from January through November 2023.
According to the State Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan, the country's foreign trade turnover totaled $10.790 billion from January through September 2023, a 26.2 percent rise over the same period in 2022.
Exports amounted to $2.108 billion, increasing 49.6 percent compared to the first nine months of 2022. Imports rose by 21.6 percent compared to the same period in 2022, reaching $8.681 billion.
