BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, December 9. Kyrgyzstan’s imports from Georgia totaled $563.540 million from January through October 2023, which is a 9.8-times increase compared to the same period in 2022 ($57.367 million), Trend reports.
Data from the National Statistics Office of Georgia shows that exports from Kyrgyzstan to Georgia during this period amounted to $3.898 million, signifying a 30-percent increase compared to $2.992 million from January through October 2022.
Overall, the trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Georgia during the specified months reached $567.439 million, rising by 9.4 times year-on-year ($60.359 million for the same months in 2022).
Meantime, trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Georgia amounted to $97.853 million in 2022, nearly tripling compared to 2021 ($33.130 million).
Last year, Kyrgyzstan’s exported to Georgia goods worth $4.096 million, which is 1.6 times more than in 2021 ($2.410 million).
The country’s imports from Georgia amounted to $93.756 million, rising more than trice compared to 2021 ($30.720 million).
