BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 25. The value of Tajikistan’s foreign trade turnover slightly increased in the first quarter of 2022 compared to the same period of 2021, Trend reports via Customs Service of Tajikistan.
Tajikistan’s total value of foreign trade turnover amounted to $2 billion from January through March 2022, which is an increase of 5.2 percent compared to $1.9 billion in the same period of 2021.
According to the statistical data, Tajikistan’s imports amounted to $1.3 billion, which is an increase of 30 percent compared to $1 billion in the reporting period of 2021.
However, the value of Tajikistan’s exports worth $690 million in the first quarter of 2022 decreased by 28.4 percent compared to $964.3 million in the same period of 2021.
