BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 25. The financial organizations of Tajikistan allocated loans worth 6.204 billion somoni ($571.7 million) from January through April 2023, Trend reports.
According to the National Bank of Tajikistan, the figure increased 39.2 percent compared to 4.456 billion somoni ($410.6 million) allocated by the financial organizations from January through April 2022.
In the allocation of funds, the consumption sector received the largest amount of loans, worth 2.337 billion somoni ($215.3 million).
The industrial sector received a total of 1.225 billion somoni ($112.8 million), followed by the agricultural sector with 1.030 billion somoni ($94.9 million).
The foreign trade sector was allocated 693.808 million somoni ($63.9 million), while the services sector received 416.515 million somoni ($38.3 million).
The construction sector secured 251.380 million somoni ($19.8 million), and the transport sector was allocated 33.615 million somoni ($3 million).
Additionally, 7.225 million somoni ($665,810) were allocated for the catering sector, 8.023 million somoni ($739,349) for financial intermediaries, and 200.053 million somoni ($18.4 million)for other purposes.
