Bromodifluoromethane and difluorochloromethane were included in the list of substances restricted for use in Turkmenistan, Trend reports on Nov. 3 citing Turkmenportal.
A list of organic substances that deplete the ozone layer, prohibited and restricted for use in the country, has been approved in Turkmenistan.
So, in accordance with the amendment, bromodichloromethane will be possible to be used with the permission of the President of Turkmenistan, while the use of difluorochloromethane will be permitted within the annual norm for the country.
The list includes 21 chemical substances, in particular, difluorodichloromethane, chlorotrifluoromethane, pentachlorofluoroethane, 1,1,2,2-tetrachloro-1,2-difluoroethane, 1,1,2-trifluoro-1,2,2-trichloroethane, 1, 2-dichlorotetrafluoroethane and others.
