BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 12. From January through March 2022, the S.A.Niyazov Chemical Plant in Turkmenistan produced 53,000 tons of phosphorus fertilizers needed to increase the yield of cotton, grain and other agricultural crops, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
This is 13,000 tons higher than planned.
It is envisaged that in 2022 the plant will produce 220,000 tons of phosphorus fertilizers.
Since the beginning of the year, the company has also manufactured 32,400 tons of sulfuric acid.
At the moment, the plant is undergoing reconstruction and construction of additional workshops.
With the increasing dynamics of the construction of industrial and social facilities in Turkmenistan, the industry is becoming one of the most important sectors of the economy, which is given an important role in the implementation of import substitution programs and increasing the export potential of the state.
