BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 11. The Seydi Oil Refinery (SOR) in Turkmenistan manufactured about 83,500 tons of products from January through April 2022, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
During this period, the refinery manufactured more than 43,500 tons of diesel fuel, exceeding the production plan by 22 percent.
Production growth increased by 9.3 percent compared to the same period last year.
Furthermore, the Seydi oil refinery fulfilled the plan for the production of vacuum gas oil and road bitumen.
The bulk of the refinery finished products is exported abroad.
Turkmenistan ranks among the world's leading countries in terms of oil and gas reserves. Its gas reserves have increased by 126 billion cubic meters as a result of the industrial development of recently discovered gas fields.
At the same time, the country pays great attention to the creation of oil and gas processing plants, as well as the export of energy resources to world markets.
