BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 17. Turkmenistan’s Seydi Oil Refinery (SOR) processed 287,000 tons of crude oil from January through August 2022, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
During the reporting period, 255,600 tons of finished products were manufactured from processed raw materials at the refinery. Its main volume - more than 132,100 tons accounted for gasoline.
At the same time, the refinery produced about 74,300 tons of diesel fuel, 23,400 tons of heavy vacuum gasoil, 20,500 tons of road bitumen and 4,200 tons of fuel oil.
The refinery's oil products are exported to countries such as Uzbekistan and Afghanistan.
Turkmenistan ranks among the world's leading countries in terms of oil and gas reserves. Its gas reserves have increased by 126 billion cubic meters as a result of the industrial development of recently discovered gas fields.
At the same time, the country pays great attention to the creation of oil and gas processing plants, as well as the export of energy resources to world markets.
