BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 30. The volume of cotton harvest in the Lebap region in the east of Turkmenistan has been publicized, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
The farms of the region with 14,300 hectares of land sown with cotton have received 80,000 tons of harvest since the beginning of the season. Harvesting is currently underway.
Meanwhile, 580,000 hectares of land have been sown in the whole country this year (620,000 hectares in 2021), from which 1.25 million tons of cotton are planned to be harvested.
