BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 28. Representatives of the Turkmen customs service held talks with foreign colleagues to develop customs cooperation and ensure a high level of service at the borders, Trend reports citing Orient news.
This was told by Chemengul Bayramova, Senior Inspector of the Department of Law and International Relations of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan.
According to her, an online meeting was recently held to study the Russian customs system in order to use the experience to create a similar system in the Turkmenbashi International Seaport.
Furthermore, Bayramova added that negotiations were held with colleagues from Kazakhstan, within the framework of which Turkmen specialists studied the work at Kazakh border customs points to establish further cooperation.
She noted that representatives of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan also signed cooperation agreements and exchanged experience with customs officers of Uzbekistan and Iran, which has already led to a significant increase in trade turnover with these countries.
