BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 8. Representatives of the Turkmen State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange held a meeting in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, with a delegation of the Astana International Financial Center (AIFC) during which they discussed issues of further development of cooperation, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.

During the meeting, the Chairman of the board of the AIFC Green Finance Centre Aidar Kazybayev, informed the Turkmen side about the work carried out by the organization, and also invited to visit Kazakhstan to exchange experience and establish productive cooperation.

In turn, the representative of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdyev, familiarized his colleagues with the products presented on the exchange, the procedure and tariffs for the purchase of brokerage places. The guests also received information about the types of contracts that are subject to registration on the commodity exchange.

The objectives of the Astana International Financial Center are to assist in attracting investments into the country's economy by creating an attractive environment for investment in financial services, developing the securities market of Kazakhstan, ensuring its integration with international capital markets.
