BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 16. Turkmenistan offers Tatarstan (Russia) to expand mutually beneficial partnerships, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.

This was stated by the Minister of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan Serdar Joraev at the Turkmenistan-Tatarstan business forum held on March 15 in the Turkmen capital of Ashgabat.

According to him, Turkmenistan proposes to develop various mechanisms of interaction aimed at the effective implementation of specific mutually beneficial joint projects in the fields of industry, transport, agriculture, environmental protection, education and healthcare.

"We consider such spheres as energy, industry, transport, trade, and digital technologies as strategic areas of integration, which are key to ensuring favorable international conditions and are able to give the necessary incentives for expanding trade and investment cooperation," said Joraev.

Furthermore, he stressed that in Turkmenistan the main emphasis is on attracting investments in the real sector of the economy, on the introduction of the latest equipment technologies.

Leading Tatarstan enterprises are working in Turkmenistan, getting engaged in various projects in engineering, shipbuilding, petrochemical, energy, and medical sectors. Among the companies are KAMAZ PJSC, Tatneft PJSC, Eidos-Medicine LLC, KER-Holding Management Company LLC, Ak Bars Shipbuilding Corporation, KMPO JSC, Kazancompressormash JSC, Kazan Helicopters JSC.
