BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 17. The enterprises of the energy sector of Turkmenistan exceeded the production plan from January through March 2023, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
This was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Ashirguly Begliyev at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on April 15.
According to him, during the reporting period, the Turkmennebit State Concern fulfilled the oil supply plan at the level of 101.9 percent, oil refining – by 103.6 percent, gasoline production – by 104.5 percent, diesel fuel – by 108.6 percent, polypropylene – by 104.5 percent.
Begliyev noted that in the first quarter of this year, the plan for the extraction of natural and associated gas was fulfilled by 104.5 percent, and its export – by 102.8 percent.
Turkmenistan ranks among the world's leading countries in terms of oil and gas reserves. At the same time, the country pays great attention to the creation of oil and gas processing plants, as well as the export of energy resources to world markets.
