BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 28. Entrepreneurs from UAE and Afghanistan purchased diesel fuel for Turkmen production during trading on April 19 at the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan, Trend reports with reference to the exchange.
Businessmen from UAE and Afghanistan purchased 30,000 tons of hydrotreated diesel fuel on the exchange at a price of $629.75 per ton. The total amount of the transactions was $18.8 million.
At the same time, according to the exchange, on April 20, entrepreneurs from UAE purchased 800 tons of unleaded gasoline in the amount of $715,200.
Turkmenistan ranks among the world's leading countries in terms of oil and gas reserves. The country pays great attention to the construction of oil and gas processing plants, as well as the export of energy resources to world markets.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
