ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, July 19. The municipality of the capital of Turkmenistan, Ashgabat, exceeded the plan for the work carried out and the development of investments from January through June 2023, Trend reports.
This was announced by the head of the city of Ashgabat Rahim Gandymov at an expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
According to him, during the reporting period, self-supporting enterprises and institutions subordinate to the city municipality exceeded the plan for the work carried out by 23 percent, and for the development of investments - by 28.4 percent.
In addition, Gandymov noted that 90 housing infrastructure facilities designed for 707 families were commissioned in Ashgabat in the first half of the year: 108 and 54 nine-storey apartment buildings in the Parakhat-7 residential complex, 14 four-storey houses with 32 apartments each and 1 four-storey 24-apartment building in the Buzmeinsky district, as well as 73 two-storey houses.
At the meeting, the results of the government's work in the economic sphere for 6 months of 2023 were summed up, draft documents were considered and priority tasks of the socio-economic development of the country were discussed.
