ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, December 6. At the moment, there are 180 projects in Turkmenistan involving US companies, the total cost of which is $3.3 billion, Trend reports.

This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers for the trade complex and textile industry Batyr Atdayev during the US-Turkmenistan Business Forum in Ashgabat.

He stressed that the main weight of project implementation falls on large companies such as Boeing, General Electric and John Deere.

Furthermore, he expressed confidence that Turkmenistan sees significant prospects in attracting US investments and advanced technologies aimed at developing scientific and innovative industries in the country.

Meanwhile, the 10th US-Turkmenistan Business Council is being held in Ashgabat on December 5-7, which is attended by heads and representatives of relevant government and business structures of the two countries.

The delegation that arrived in Ashgabat, headed by Eric Stewart, Executive Director of the US-Turkmenistan Business Council, included executives and representatives of well-known companies, including Visa, Palo Alto Networks, Honeywell, John Deere, etc.
