ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, December 7. The 'Lebapgallaönümleri' Production Association, located in the Lebap region in eastern Turkmenistan, produced over 43,570 tons of flour from January through October this year, Trend reports.

During the stipulated time period, the firm also produced approximately 1,330 tons of wheat groats and nearly 13,350 tons of bran, according to official data.

The production association effectively fulfilled the work plan for this period.

In terms of value, the firm produced goods worth around 37.2 million Turkmen manats ($10.65 million), which is much greater than the equivalent period last year.

Meanwhile, Turkmenistan prioritizes agricultural expansion and food security due to its enormous natural resources and favorable environment.

Turkmenistan's government has paid special attention to the food sector in recent years, aiming to reduce the country's reliance on imports and secure a sustainable supply of food to the population.
