ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, December 11. Industrial enterprises of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan achieved production growth of 0.7 percent in the period from January through November 2023, Trend reports.
This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Government of Turkmenistan Batyr Atdaev, at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
He noted that over the specified period, the growth rate of trade turnover in this ministry amounted to 0.7 percent year-on-year.
Furthermore, Atdaev stressed that in the first eleven months of this year, the growth rate of agricultural production and food products of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan reached 9 percent, and industrial production amounted to 9.4 percent year-on-year.
At the same time, he added that the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan held 275 trades during the specified period, during which 27,762 contracts were registered.
The growth rate of work performed by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry amounted to 9.9 percent.
In the interim, Turkmenistan has made notable strides in advancing its industrial sector.
The government's strategic initiatives and innovative approaches have resulted in surpassing production targets in both the industrial and construction sectors since the start of the year.
