ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, March 1. The 'Dowardarçylyk' livestock farm of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan, which is located on the territory of the Dashoguz region, has received an offspring of more than 12,500 lambs and goats this year, Trend reports.
According to official data, during the specified period, this number of lambs and goats was received by the livestock industry from 16,000 adults.
Furthermore, the livestock farm also received a litter of 339 camels from 753 camels giving offspring this year.The livestock breeders of the farm carry out round-the-clock monitoring of the herd on pastures and monitor their proper feeding and placement in warm pens.
Meanwhile, at the moment, a lot of work is being done in Turkmenistan to develop animal husbandry, increase the number of livestock, manufacture meat and dairy products, and strengthen the feed base of the industry.
At the same time, Most of the livestock production is accounted for by the private sector in Turkmenistan.
