The volume of foreign trade turnover in Uzbekistan amounted to $42.1 billion in 2021, which is an increase of 15.9 percent compared to 2020 ($36.3 billion), Trend reports citing the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
During this period the volume of export from Uzbekistan amounted to $16.6 billion. In 2021 Uzbekistan exported industrial products ($4.3 billion), services ($2.5 billion), food and animal products ($1.4 billion), chemical products ($1.1 billion), mineral fuels and lubricants ($890 million), various finished products (785 million), machinery and equipment (694 million), non-food products ($514 million).
Import in the corresponding period amounted to $25.5 billion. Uzbekistan imported machinery and transport equipment ($8.3 billion), industrial products ($4.7 billion), chemical products ($3.6 billion), food products ($2.5 billion), services ($1.7 billion), various finished products ($1.4 billion), mineral fuels and lubricants ($1.5 billion) and non-food products ($1.2 billion) in 2021.
