Agricultural production in Uzbekistan in value terms amounted to 302.5 trillion soums ($27.9 billion) in 2021, which is an increase of 20.8 percent compared to 2020 (250.2 trillion soums or $23.1 billion),Trend reports citing the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
According to the committee, over the past 10 years, agricultural production has grown 6.6 times. For comparison, in 2011 this indicator amounted to 45.2 trillion soums ($4.1 billion).
In 2021, crop production amounted to 151 trillion soums ($13.9 billion), and livestock production amounted to 151.4 trillion soums ($14 billion).
In 2020, agricultural production in Uzbekistan in value terms amounted to 250.2 trillion soums ($23.3 billion), and in 2010 this indicator accounted for 30.8 trillion soums ($2.8 billion).
Agricultural production in Uzbekistan in 2020 increased by 15.7 percent compared to 2019 (216.8 trillion soums, or $20.1 billion).
