BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 25. The foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan amounted to $24.5 billion from January through June 2022, which is an increase of 32.4 percent compared to the same period last year ($18.5 billion), Trend reports via the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.

At the same time, the share of the CIS countries in the foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan from January through June 2022 amounted to $8.7 billion, which is an increase of 27.6 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2021 ($6.8 billion).

The foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan with other countries in the specified period amounted to 15.7 billion, which is an increase of 35.2 percent compared to the same period of 2021 ($11.6 billion).

From January through June 2022, exports of goods and services from Uzbekistan amounted to $9.9 billion, while imports amounted to $14.6 billion.

The largest trading partners of Uzbekistan during this period were China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkey, the Republic of Korea, Germany, and Kyrgyzstan.
