BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 23. Since March 2022, Uzbekistan has not exported gold abroad, Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
In the first quarter of 2022, Uzbekistan exported non-monetary gold worth $2.97 billion.
At the same time, exports of fertilizers, oil and gas, and power generators increased.
The value of gold on the market is declining. The price per troy ounce reached $2,039 at the end of the first decade of March. By July 20, this figure was already $1,709.
