BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 30. As a result of the modernization work carried out by the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan over the last 7 months of 2022, the capacity of 6 main substations has been increased by an additional 591 MVA, Trend reports via the ministry.
Among them are high-voltage substations of country's Surkhandarya, Samarkand, Jizzakh regions and the city of Tashkent.
By the end of the year, the capacity will be increased by 1,025 MVA at 5 more substations.
As a result, in 7 regions of the country and in the capital - in total at 11 substations the capacity will be increased by 1,616 MVA.
