The delegation of the European Parliament to visit Iran in autumn, the spokesman for the Parliament (Majlis) National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Kazem Jalali said, Iran's state IRIB News channel reported.
Jalali did not specified the exact time of the visit. He expressed hope that the delegation of the European Parliament will hear about the processes taking place in Iran from the mouth of Iranian officials and soften hard stance against the country.
According to Jalali, some Iranian opposition forces influence the European Parliament and promote a negative image of Iran there.
