Secretary of Iranian association of audio and video appliances producers rejected reports that LG and Samsung companies have shut down their agencies in Iran.
"Iranian market is so attractive and great that no country is willing to lose it," Mohammad Reza Shahidi told ISNA adding that, "LG and Samsung firms have concluded long-tem deals with Iranian sides and have not closed their offices in Iran at all."
"The issue (dissolution of the agencies in Iran) was discussed some 6 months ago, but it no longer arose and recent speculations on the matter aim at psychological war and are not correct."
He said that LG is now working with Iranian company of GoldIran while Samsung cooperating with Sam Electronic on production of LCD and LED series.
He also said TV sets production has been increased by 15 percent in Iran over second quarter of 2010.
A website has already claimed that LG and Samsung agencies have been closed in Iran.
