King Abdullah announces support for Iran’s nuclear rights

Jordan's King Abdullah said here on Monday that his country recognizes Iran's nuclear rights, adding enjoying access to peaceful nuclear energy is the right of the Iranian nation, IRNA reported.
   
Jordan's King made the remarks in a meeting with President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's Advisor and Head of the Presidential Office Esfandiar Rahim Mashaei in Amman.

Referring to the situation of Iran in the region, Jordan's King called for fostering all-out mutual ties with Tehran.

During the visit, Mashaei extended the official invitation of the Iranian President to King Abdullah of Jordan.

Accepting the invitation, the king said that he would visit the Islamic Republic of Iran in a near future, but the date of that visit was not specified.

Iran's Presidential advisor also described the upcoming visit of Jordan's King to Iran as opening of a new chapter in fostering mutual ties.

He said unity of the Islamic countries play a pivotal role in defusing threats, adding if Muslim states become united, no Islamic country would be under any threats.

Mashaei also called for effective measures to forge unity among the Middle Eastern and Muslim states.

Iran's Presidential advisor, heading a high-ranking delegation, arrived in Amman on Saturday.
