Iran's export of technical services has earned it $3 billion in the first nine months of this year (Iran's solar year ends in March), Fars news agency reported a trade official saying.
At a meeting in Iran's Bushehr Province, Hamid Safdel, director of the Trade Promotion Organisation of Iran, said the country's good relations with Qatar could lead to business partnerships.
The 2022 World Cup in Qatar is a perfect opportunity for Iran, and Bushehr Province to provide infrastructure services to that country.
The West's economic problems have offered the prospect for growth to other countries and Iran has taken advantage of this.
To the east, Iran's exports to Afghanistan have grown to more than $1.5 billion annually while exports to neighbours on Iran's western border have reached more than $4 billion.
