Three fields in Iran will add 45,000 barrels a day to the country's oil output after commissioning, Shana news agency reports.

The South Zagros Oil & Gas Production Company plans to make the Sarvestan and Saadatabad fields completely operational in the first half of the Iranian year (Iran's solar year ended on March 20), Ahmad Saraji, the company's managing director, said.

The work is also underway to bring Khest oil field on-stream. Together, the three fields would produce 45,000 barrels of oil a day.

The South Zagros Oil & Gas Production Company is a subsidiary of the Iranian Central Oil Fields Company (ICOFC). Its operations cover 10 gas fields and the Sarvestan, Saadatabad and Khest oil fields.
