Governor General of Markazi Province, by referring to activities of a number of provincial companies in different areas of Russia, said there are plans for wider participation in Russian market.
Ali Akbar Sha'bani-fard told IRNA on Saturday that Russia is a very good market for Iranian goods and Markazi province is to use the existing opportunity to expand commercial exchanges and economic cooperation with Russia, IRNA reported.
He added that Markazi province has 2,700 industrial units and its export is growing. The governor general continued that four years ago the province had 80 million dollars export, but in the last yea its non-oil export reached over one billion dollars.
Sha'bani-fard and his accompanying delegation are in Moscow to attend Iran-Russia economic gathering as well as an exhibition on Iran economic abilities.
