Iran’s NISOC drills 14 new oil wells

National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) has drilled 14 wells since the beginning of the current Iranian year (March 20), an NISOC official stated.

These amounted to 45,243 metres in depth, the IRIB reported.

NISOC is currently operating nearly 750 oil output preservation projects, 12 of which are scheduled to come on-stream by the end of the current Iranian calendar year.

NISOC, a subsidiary of the state-run National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), accounts for three million barrels per day of crude oil.
