(cihan) - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has left for a one day visit to Syria on Wednesday.

The recent events in Iraq, latest developments in the Middle East and economical and commercial relations with Syria are the issues on the agenda of Erdogan's meeting with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and other top Syrian officials.
