Iraqi customs officials have prevented a number of Iranian trucks from entering into the Arab country due to the lack of documentations. Iran's commercial attache in Iraq Ebrahim Mohammad Reza Zadeh has said that the trucks were not allowed to cross the border as the drivers failed to provide the required documents and certificates, IRNA news agency reported. According to Ebrahim Mohammad Reza Zadeh, the trucks carrying goods into Iraq are required to provide the certificate of origin.
He further added that According to the Iraqi regulations the exporters before shipping goods must provide the certificates of health and origin as well as sales receipts. The whole documents need to be confirmed by the Iraqi embassy to Tehran before shipping goods, he added.
