The main index of the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) decreased by 567.23 points ((-0.41 percent) to end the trades at 136,343.4 on Aug. 25.
According to the TSE official website, about 1,450 million shares valued at $116 million were traded for the day.
The trading value registered a fall by 1 percent, while the volume decreased by 8.2 percent compared to the preceding day.
The Price Index (TEPIX) decreased by 260.05 points (-0.65 percent) to post 39,880.7.
The First Market Price and Dividend Index TEDPIX (FM) decreased by 480.58 points (-0.48 percent) to 100,323.4.
The Second Market Price and Dividend Index TEDPIX (SM) decreased by 829.14 points (-0.30 percent) to post 272,130.9.
The Industry Index decreased 652.09 points (-0.52 percent) to post 125,107.9.
TSE 30 Index lost 80.86 points (-1.19 percent) to close at 6,720.5.
TSE 50 Index lost 39.15 points (-0.65 percent) to end at 5,952.1.
Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company, MAPNA Group, Tabriz Oil Refining Company, Saipa Group and Isfahan Oil Refining Company were among those that had the highest positive effect on the TSE index.
Meanwhile, Pars Petrochemical Company, Mobarakeh Steel Company, Gol Gohar Mining and Industrial Company, National Iranian Copper Industries Company, Persian Gulf Petrochemical Company, Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company and Khouzestan Steel Company had the biggest negative impact on the TSE index.
