Iran's Hormozgan Cement Plant has produced and exported 400,000 tons of clinker during the eight months of this Iranian year (started on March 21, 2018), Trend reports.
This plant exported 338,000 tons of clinker in the same period of last Iranian year, Masuma Mousavi, director of the mining affairs department of the Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Iran's Hormozgan province, said in an interview with IRNA.
She added that this Iranian year the volume of clinker exported by the plant increased by 40 percent.
This Iranian year clinker has been exported to Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Tanzania and South Africa, Mousavi said.
Hormozgan Cement Plant is one of the biggest cement plants in Iran and 600 people work at the plant.
