Iran reveals its non-oil trade in 7 months

TEHRAN, Iran, Dec. 3

The value of Iran’s non-oil trade increased by 48 percent during the first seven months of the current Iranian year (started on March 21) as compared to the same period last year, said the Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade Mehdi Sadeghi Niyaraki, Trend reports citing IRNA.

He made the remark during his visit to the East Azerbaijan Province of Iran.

“Iran has traded over $27 million of non-oil products in the first seven months of the current Iranian year (started on March 21), which shows a 48 percent increase in value and 15 percent in volume,” Niyaraki said.

According to the Statistical Center of Iran, the average growth of production was 5.5 percent in the mentioned period, while according to the Central Bank, the growth rate was 6.1 percent.
