TEHRAN, Iran, April 6. Iran Economic Ministry is pursuing to launch the economic transformation plan, said the Minister of Economic Affairs and Finances Ehsan Khandoozi, Trend reports citing IRNA.
"The ministry is starting the economic transformation by the collaboration of the parliament and had progress in past seven months in tax transformation program and controlling foreign exchange rate," he said.
He went on to say that some of the achievements of the ministry were facilitating licenses for businesses and drafting a plan for non-inflationary poverty reduction.
According to the minister, the government tax revenue had 110 percent growth and other revenues had a 250 percent increase that was reached from different places such as profit from the state-owned shares in public companies and mines that were the result of the ministry's actions.
About seven percent of the government revenues have been generated from the National Development Fund while 20 percent was from oil export and 30 percent from the sale of treasury bonds in the last Iranian year(started March 21, 2021).
