After some 22 days of intensive negotiations Iran and six world powers achieved a comprehensive deal to put an end to the decade-old nuclear dispute.

The agreement aims to limit Iran's nuclear work for more than a decade in exchange for the suspension of sanctions that have slashed Iran 's oil exports and crippled its economy.

Iran's blocked assets, worth billions of dollars, will be unfrozen as well according to the agreement.

The agreement is also a historic achievement for Iran and the US.

The two opposing sides have achieved an important agreement to settle their disputes, a first, after 33 years of hostility began in 1979 after the Islamic revolutionaries seized the US Embassy in Tehran , holding 52 Americans captive for 444 days.

Of course Iran 's local newspapers highlighted this important event, and the headlines in the printed press indicate how the political wings in the country are divided over the nuclear agreement.

Below are seventeen headlines in Iran 's leading newspapers that highlighted the deal.
