Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said that Iran's policy towards the US will not change after nuclear deal.

The "arrogant US government's" policies in the region fully contradict with the Islamic Republic policies, Khamenei said, adding, no matter if the comprehensive nuclear deal is approved or not, the Islamic Republic will not give up support of its friends in the region.

The oppressed people of Palestine, Yemen, Iraq, the Syrian government and people as well as the oppressed people of Bahrain and sincere resistance fighters in Lebanon and Palestine will be under the support of Iran, the Islamic Republic's Supreme leader said, Khamenei's official website reported July 18.

Khamenei further said that the "down with the US," and "death to Israel" slogans in the latest Friday of the Ramadan month, last week, made clear the Islamic Republic's policy direction.

"As we've repeatedly announced the Islamic Republic does not hold bilateral negotiations with the US in regional and global issues," he underlined.

However in some "exceptional cases" such as the nuclear issue Iran has negotiated with the US "on the basis of expediency," he added.

Khamenei also underlined that the nuclear issue was not the only exceptional case which was talked with the United States.
