President Of Georgia To Participate In Energy Forum Planned In Vilnius

( Prime-News ) - Mikheil Saakashvili, President of Georgia, will participate in a conference dedicated to energy security issue - "Responsible Energy for Responsible Partners" held in Vilnius on October 10-11.

Russian news agencies inform about that referring to the administration of the president of Lithuania.

According to the Russian news agencies, the forum will be opened on October 10 in Vilnius, where the meeting of expert-power engineering specialists and the heads of energy enterprises will be held. The meeting of the presidents of Lithuania, Poland, Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Moldova will be held in the President's Palace in Vilnius on the same day.

The heads and ministers of Baltic Sea and Black Sea regions, Central Asia, European countries and Russia as well as the representatives of NATO and EU will arrive in Vilnius in order to participate in the forum.

The participants of the conference will discuss the issues related to world energy security.

Valdas Adamkus, President of Lithuania, will deliver a speech on the conference and will call for all interested parties to look for new and acceptable means for cooperation of energy resources consumers.
