Georgia is to become the focus of a European Parliament resolution on the current situation in Georgia which includes security, occupation, issues of internal policy and the prospects of European integration and NATO membership.
Georgia's parliamentary speaker David Bakradze left for Brussels to hold talks with MEPs on the text of the resolution.
Bakradze told journalists at Tbilisi Airport, on Tuesday, he intends to hold negotiations at the European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee.
He said: "We will also hold negotiations with various parliamentary groups at the European Parliament and will answer all their questions to get EU support".
