Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili will attend the International Conference Basecamp to take place in California on Friday, Jan. 27. As the Georgian Presidential Administration told Trend, the three-day conference will be attended by major investors from around the world and business leaders.
Saakashvili left for the U.S. on Wednesday at the invitation of President Barack Obama, with whom he will hold an official meeting at the Oval Office on Jan.30.
President Saakashvili is at the Basecamp summit on special invitation.
He will deliver a speech at the conference. The topic of his speech: "Destruction of tyranny and democracy building: lessons from the Rose Revolution in Georgia".
