Visas to Slovakia for Georgian citizens will be issued in Tbilisi at the Embassy of Lithuania from April 27. It was announced following a meeting of foreign ministers of Slovakia and Georgia Miroslav Lajcak and Grigol Vashadze.
According to the Georgian Foreign Ministry, the Slovakian side made the decision.
As Lajcak said, this decision will significantly simplify the process of obtaining visas to Slovakia by Georgian citizens.
Prior to this, visas to Slovakia were issued to Georgian citizens at consulates in Ankara and Kiev.
