The Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure will be abolished, candidate for Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili said at the meeting of the entire Cabinet on Tuesday.

The Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure will be abolished, candidate for Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili said at the meeting of the entire Cabinet on Tuesday.

The leader of the Georgian Dream said the infrastructure will join the Ministry of Economy.

A service for regional development will be established and submitted to the Prime Minister and the candidate for the post of Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure David Narmania will be the first deputy Minister of Finance.

Parliamentary elections were held in Georgia on October 1. Around 14 parties and two political blocs participated in the elections.

According to full the preliminary data of the Georgian Central Election Commission, the Georgian Dream coalition will receive 85 seats in the parliament and the United National Movement, 65.
