Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation (GOGC) has announced an auction for sale of 20,000 tons of Georgian Light and Georgian Heavy oil types extracted in Georgia. Companies willing to participate in the auction should transfer the equivalent of $100,000 in the Georgian currency to the bank account of GOGC, the corporation told Trend.
The company that will offer the smallest discount per barrel of oil will be announced the winner of the auction. Bidding will be conducted around discount of $ 9 proposed by COGC.
The oil supply will be carried out in several stages based on the agreement between the corporation and the winner of the auction, and at pre-determined time.
The auction on the sale of oil will take place in the building of COGC in Tbilisi at 16.00 on December 20.
