The implementation of the project on using wind farms' power will be launched in Georgia next year, Georgian Minister of Energy Kakha Kaladze told media on Wednesday.
"We have already started to prepare for using the wind farms' power," he said. "Next year the stations will be used in the pilot mode, but they will be small. The matter rests in the capacity of 20 megawatts."
According to the minister, it is expected that the project will be implemented in Kartli and Samtskhe-Javakheti regions at the first phase.
